There is also some question of the continued role of regional "Premier" teams at U13+ like Premier South. Given that Central Elite U13 girls just beat the Breakers Academy U13 NPL team at the pre-season NEFC tourney, I think the "premier" regional team model is no longer valid.
Your first part is correct (Elite is the new regional United), but BBA does not kick in until U14. The top NEFC team at U13 is still known as NEFC/Breakers NPL, and there is no Premier South or Premier anything at U13. All that starts at U14.

They didn't even make the quarterfinals of the Surf Cup 2nd division.

At the end of the day, they are still GPS. Did you actually expect something different?

Not sure which team you are referring to but Gu15 team went 1-1-1 in bracket play. Gave up 1 goal, scored 2. Hardly an embarrassment.

Were the other teams "National" teams?

I see Elite teams, but then there are teams just labeled North or South with no Elite attached.

Is a NH Boys Elite team a State Elite team?
There are 30 GPS Elite teams on the boys side. Elite teams are their C teams behind NPL and State teams.

Is there a State team in NH? If not, it's probably a B team as opposed to a C team. (small point).

There's only one GPS team in NH. A couple are pretty good and play in NPL. The rest of their top teams play in NEP.

They do have a Regional team that they connect with Maine, which is used as a stepping stone to get to their National team.

Perhaps you're referring to the older age groups? Many of the top teams in each region at the younger ages (U12 & below) that my kid has played over the past few years have been very competitive. True, though, when you see you're playing a GPS team, you just never know what you're going to get. Same with most clubs, I guess.

Yah, I guess the National wins/Regional wins and State Cup wins over the last few years can be ignored. Please enlighten us as to your club.

This may be the team to watch, just created for second chance at mid Atlantic regionals of national cup. Now playing NEP premiership U14g
Got soccer 10 points and #186 mass.

Definitely did not earn there spot on top grouping.
Shows that you do not have to earn placement in NEP.

Based on their weekend results from the NEFC cup where they tied one premiership team, lost to another one by a goal and then beat a premiership 1 team I think they deserved their placement.
