    "Is it right?"
    "Is it necessary?"
    "Is it kind?"

If it isn't all three, let it remain in the thought bubble. While it may feel good at the time, there's no crawling back once it leaves your lips.

    My 12-year old knows that.

Imagine that! Face to face! Few people have the courage, poise, and self-control to speak to someone they disagree with, look that person in the eye, and state the complaint.

Yes - it demands civil interaction. We can all use experience and practice at this as can all the kids.

Apparently the parents' emails were replies/responses to original messages from the coach. Also saw on twitter that the coach also coached an AAU team and one of the high school players was on her team. Wouldn't be surprised if that sparked some of the controversy.

E-mails from mommy and daddy didn't appear to be written that way.

Mommy and daddy come across as petty, selfish, and borderline crazy. No other way to look at it, AAU or not.
