It looked like PDA South was having trouble drawing players at the younger ages so they were given ECNL as a lifeline probably. I don’t think it will help since it didn’t seem to help the pa clubs. PDA just doesn’t have the same draw in SJ.

It’s true MF can’t do anything without the blessing of PDA.

They’ll probably eventually get it. MF probably cut a deal with PDA. PDA didn’t want to add another club to ECNL. It would have made their monopoly too obvious. Enough people complained after they added the failing pda south.

They will never get it, keep dreaming. As for MFShore teams, heard a couple of parents on the 09 team complaining this weekend about the training and how they had to goto PA to play in a tournament with township teams. (When your winning games 12-0, you obviously are not playing at your skill level. Pretty embarrassing for a team the practiced during the mandatory 4+ month shutdown) They didn't seem happy about the way things are going with the team and that the coach is actively seeking more kids. It's funny, parents that were praising this club/coach are now starting to complain about the things that everyone on Talking Soccer has been pointing out for the last year.
