This is why a government body should actually oversee clubs. It's unacceptable what is going on at this club.

Yes since his departure as DOC been nothing but downhill for CSA...heck they went from DA to Gal or whatever it’s called.

Oof. I don't think I’ve seen a more nonsensical post here, ever. And there’s a LOT of nonsense being spouted on this site.

1. DM was never DOC at CSA.

2. CSA left the DA like every single other club in the country, due to US Soccer disbanding the league. Jill Ellis could have been CSA’s DOC, and the result would have been the same.

Can you blame a coach if he decides to leave CSA at this point? If Management cared they wouldn’t have left the coaches high and dry laid, off with zero information . CSA is a sinking ship.

This is why clubs should be approved by a government body. Get rid of these fake academies and promote town clubs. Town clubs would have to have a professional staff and then send top players to MLS academies if they want the next step. MLS academies would pay development fee to town club for players. Club that reinvests the money back into the club like the rest of the world does.

Germany is miles ahead of us for soccer and life. They have limited cases and started playing while our fearless leader doesn't even know what day it is and wants packed stadiums. Brilliant!

The coaches are collecting unemployment and the academy does not have to pay them, it’s a win win. And they don’t have to pay refs, reimburse their coaches for travel and expenses etc. And you paid for a season that did not exist, and the DA which you paid for as well went under, and I don’t think you’re seeing a cent back. It’s called running a business and they have to maximize every $. You as the youth soccer consumer just bears the brunt of it.

Agree. As long as the coaches are good and focus on solely making every player better that translates to better players and maximizing potential no matter what club. The whole “academy” thing in the USA is just a business ploy to attract affluent families thinking they are getting something Elite that no one else is getting.

Ahh yes. Typical American genius. German league started just in case you experts didn't know. When are sports starting here? OK. Thought so.

Put the pride down. Other countries are ahead of us. Yes, a shame but that's what happens when business yet incompetent people hold powerful jobs here.
