On Matchfit does this. Look for ECNL patches on those players in the ECRL games.

They did it all last year. Parents from the NPL teams they played were PISSED!

One parent even tried to turn in the KID to NPL AND ECNL.

Almost all of the clubs do it. It's what they are supposed to do (this is one of the reasons Stars and PDA cited for leaving GDA, that they couldn't get their end-of-the-bench players playing time on other teams because of GDA rules about not playing outside of GDA matches). What the clubs rarely do is have ECRL players play up in ECNL games. This is also supposed to be what they do to help develop players on ECRL rosters, but ECNL teams too concerned with winning.

It will be interesting to see what happens to ECRL as the league starts bringing in more clubs to evaluate. Maybe some weaker ECNL teams like Bucks or FSA will eventually have their ECNL teams moved down to ECRL while others move their ECRL teams up. Eventually, ECRL will not be "B" teams of ECNL clubs, but a true 2nd tier league managed by ECNL.
