Most soccer programs will be fine but the # of scholarships could get whacked. Schools with smaller conference football programs are looking at cutting scholarships so that will hit women's soccer teams. If you have kids in gymnasitcs, rowing and other sports then yes you should spend your money on tutors to get their GPAs up.

I'm curious to see if maybe some schools drop down to D3. It eliminates the entire scholarship issue, including Title 9, as well as lower costs (usually less travel, no official spring season).

Sports are all expense for a college. They are used to attract students but schools are doing the math now to see if they can replace every sports-playing student who would be turned off by the decision with a non-sports playing one who didn’t care.

I bet football scholarships get hacked at lower level programs - that makes it easier to cut women's sports and scholarships

So more cuts coming especially if college football either comes back without fans or gets pushed to Spring.

Granted they'll take a hit with no fan $$$, but will be fine- some women's sports will be OK as well, those in danger are probably headcount like Gymnastics, Volleyball & Tennis.
