Handling ball w feet infinately more difficult than w hands obviously - we use our hands everyday for just about everything
Oh, I didn't realize that. If the threads say so must be true... You have little knowledge of football. However you are right, you must be willing to bang heads to play. Football players don't flop.

The players on an American football team are so obedient like a trained dog. They have to do exactly how they're told and there's little room to be free on the field like European football where the players have to improvise pretty much at every point of the game.

How could these professional American football players have any fun playing the sport when they have absolutely no freedom and they're just chess pieces at the coach's disposal.

No, I just think the rules need a bit of changing.

The article seemed a little pretentious. Anyone else?

The article's contrast of futbol and football proved the point of soccer fitting in with American values. The history of American football and the recommendations for improving it were insightful. American football is part of the culture but the hard truth is many Americans can't stand all the rigid rules and regulations. How many people will have a SuperBowl living room seat and will be able to decipher if it is a yellow flag and for what... lineman jumped, illegal man down field, or ? How many companies paid a million for a minute of advertising? Could we not feed our homeless? America is a melting pot that embraces Futbol and this article makes people think about why it is enjoyed, for the game's American ideals like freedom.

Football will always be better than soccer in America.

What bothers me is that football is like an entitlement scheme. Certain people from certain racial backgrounds need only show up in high school, sometimes beyond and become impact players. This might be a good thing for gang bangers looking for a way out of the ghetto, but its inherently un-American. We (well, most of us) work - sometimes for decades - to master things and be the best. We spend decades educating ourselves to lay the groundwork for this process. Soccer requires that type of work ethic because of its skill-intensive nature, and focus on the foot-eye skills which are not natural (and nobody born with as a racial or genetic attribute). Thankfully, our kids chose soccer over football and are learning first hand about dedication, work ethic, perseverance and the American way.

But, but.. this is America. We like cheating and getting away with it and taking the easier way out.

Football players get emotional in the heat of the passion too. Besides the brawl and fireworks the Superbowl was entertaining.

The Superbowl is nothing but an entertainment show for the American population, it's just like WWE Wrestling.

So you think that incredible catch near the end of the game by the Seahawks was all planned out?
