U.S. needs qualified coaches if we are to compete

Iceland, Belgium, Amsterdam... futbol model is incentivized to create great players because thats where they make their money.

The only people incentivized here are parents. Some push their way into clubs as best they can, promoting their own from within, others can only pay to play, but none who can't pay can play.

Regardless, clubs have no incentive to produce quality players, ODP and ID2 are a joke (at least in ma). Academies don't seem to fare any better here either.

So even if the "coaching" were better, incentives need to be altered for us to succeed - until then, only the rich and the nepotistic succeed (not the talent).

Not true! Most clubs have scholarship programs and will do everything they can retain players with promise.
