Valeo has 11 teams (at U12 and below) that are in MAPLE scrub divisions like Purple & White. Why hasn't all this training we hear about developed these kids or are they just there to develop the teams bank account?

Other than the Strikers and PTUSA in U13 Blue it looks like a lot of wasted weekends for two whole teams worth of families. You guys should just scrimmage every week instead of playing MAPLE.

Thats a good idea. Not a new one though. They did and probably will keep doing that at practices. Now think about what would you post here if they did not have any official league games.

this is such a stupid post in that it reflects that ignorance of others and either an inability to interpret or and purposeful ability to annoy.
While you can criticize all clubs (GPS, NEFC, Stars, Scorpions, PTUSA, Bolts, Western, etc etc) for having multiple teams within an age group and conclude that they are using the lower level teams to help fund the top level and the club itself, you profess your ignorance when you don't realize that, like other clubs, they have at least one team in each of the top divisions. For MAPLE U13B Blue division, there are two slots.

Your ignorance is further highlighted by not recognizing that the Blazers were the top team last Spring.

Now, do you claim that the NEP first division is much better than MAPLE first divison. How many GPS teams will be filling those slots this year or are many of their teams in the 'scrub divisions', or are there no scrub divisons in NEP?

....or are you simply an elitist parent living through their son or daughter who either plays on a DAP or ECNL team?

Those kids are in for a tough trip. Their psycho parents hate to lose. I feel for the refs down there as well because of the victim mentality from the sidelines.
