Funny thing about that Holyoke thread is it proves that there really isn’t anything to talk about when it comes to D3 soccer. You get about 1 page of soccer stuff and then it quickly turns to social and political talks laced with personal insults,

The real thing to talk about is how bad the academics actually are at the top D3 schools. The top of the heap D1 programs are generally much better regarded academically than the top of the heap D3 programs but that would run counter to the narrative on this site.

I'v been reading these threads for 5 years and rarely post. Our daughter just returned home for Christmas Break after her 1st season of D1 college soccer. Her first season was hard, very hard. After talking to her, I'm convinced that most of the chatter on here about playing college ball is BS.
