Lie down with dogs you get fleas. So stupid. They have to clear out the trash up there if they hope to save their party. This has always been the risk with Trump, he has no ethics, no morals and no principles other than narcissism. They can let him off in the Senate, but it will be like OJ.

      45 did it.

That is really not up for debate unless you are calling the White House Chief of Staff and the 45's personal lawyer lairs. His personal attorney has admitted quid pro quo multiple times and his chief of staff told us they did it and "we need to get over it". So the only real question is "Should a president, enlist a foreign power, by coercion or intent, to circumvent our constitutional democratic process?" I say no. Is it impeachable - Yes, it is.

Should he be removed from office, Yes but for the second and far more important article, obstruction of Congress.

No other president, no other administration, has so thoroughly and completely middle fingered the rule of law. The republicans testified during the Watergate hearings, The democrats testified for the impeachment of Clinton. Without a rule of law we have nothing and for that 45 should be removed.

The thing is all, the 45 supporters will keep deflecting and "what about"ing, but at the end of the day they know he is guilty of both charges, it is, on its own merit indefensible and they simply don't give a "F" about this country or rule of law as long as their 401K is doing well.

After all, these god fearing, church going, deficit hawk, strong on defense conservatives have elected and will support to the death a president that has; exponentially increased the deficit, is working on his third trophy wife, paid off the hooker he slept with while his third trophy wife was pregnant, couldn't quote a sentence out of the Bible, never attends church, has shown the compassion and moral leadership of a grapefruit, is almost daily abusive and cruel on his toxic twitter feed, has supporter white nationalist and undeniable racists, abandoned the Kurds (our allies for decades) to genocide destroying ANY credibility we had in the Middle East, fawns over vile and evil dictators and has the vocabulary, intellect and vision of a moon rock. But hey, the stock market hit a new high MAGA!!!!

Our standing in the world is an allies punch line, our freedom of the press has been relentlessly attacked and now our rule of law has been pissed on. Our leaders in the senate are compromised, but that is the price "conservatives" are willing to pay to get back at those libtards that want clean air, a sustainable planet, compassion for the poor and health care for everyone who needs it.

See the thing is whenever Libtards dispute your arguments (with those things called facts) you come back with personal insults and a F U attitude. Because you don't want a government by the people and for the people, you just want to get "even" to all those "people" you perceive have done you wrong. You are a mean and twisted angry man and you should see help - if you can afford it you know, no free rides for those that need help, right ?

Yes his name will forever be tarnished, he'll lose friends and allies, and most likely go to jail thanks to the SDNY. "Impeached" will be in all his obituary headlines. I can't imagine the sulking that will be going on at Mar Lago over the holidays.

This is why uneducated liberals get labeled libtards, radical, fanatical, lunatics, and Dumbass. OJ allegedly murdered two people and you wanna compare that to Trump? Cuckoo!!!! And to think you idiots called out a Republican congressman for comparing to the persecution of Trump to that of Jesus. Hypocrisy much? I'll tell you what Trump does have: The presidency, SCOTUS appointees, hundreds of judicial appointees, trade agreements, record unemployment, a booming economy, hundreds of thousands of new jobs, and a smoking hot wife! Yeah, I'd say Donny is doing alright thanks to Adam Schitz and the rest of his clown show! I can't wait for the trial!

"Impeached and Re-elected". Remember it's the will of the American people no the will of the House. Trump 2020, Bitches!!!!!!

Hew dumbass, that's not against the law! If it was, Quid Pro Quo Creepy Joe would've been in trouble too. Do you really believe that doesn't happen every day all over the world? You're a special kind of stupid. Second, an impeachment inquiry isn't a court of law. If it were, Trump would have been afforded Due Process by having legal representation and the ability to call all their fact witnesses and cross-examination of his accusers. Something Schitz wouldn't allow. Remember there were no Judges. Schitz called all the shots.

Virtually all of 18 U.S. Code CHAPTER 73

Took some pretty hard cracks to Title 52 of the USC as well.

But abuse of power and violating the oath of office are also impeachable even if no statutory crime has been committed.

Looks like he also lied to Mueller. Lying to the FBI is a felony. Then there's emoluments violations. Once his tax and financial info is made available to prosecutors there will be fraud charges there as well. He ran a fake university and fake charity. But cons lost their sh*t when Obama wore a tan suit and saluted a marine with a coffee cup in his hand.

You have the answers now, from multiple people. So please answer the original question:

Since no statutory crime has been committed, abuse of power and violating the oath of office becomes a subjective matter that should be unanimous across the aisle and not straight down a party line with zero support from the opposite side. This is why this impeachment process has set such a dangerous precedent. Republicans are right in their accusations of a political hit job and a sham. You know the framers of this country never intended impeachment to be used as a political weapon. Heck, even Clinton's impeachment had bipartisan support. It's obvious now this had nothing to do with national security as Pelosi claimed but rather a party's hatred for the POTUS. The bottom line is it doesn't really matter about what happens in the House or Senate because the power is in the people. This will all work itself out in 2020 and Libtards will have 4 more years of trying to impeach Trump while not doing what the voters sent them to do.

If you can tell me what law was broken then I'd be happy to answer your question. It's difficult to answer a hypothetical when no "statutory law" was broken.
