Most of them were picked up in a bouncy house in a random front yard in Gresham.

Come on games, I can’t wait for the first results to be posted from summer tournaments and the insidious cheap shots from the arm chair helicopter parents to fly
I heard that the 05 TA scrimmaged against the Liverpool first team and beat them 13-0.

Next real action is Clash of the Border. Local 05 clubs playing include WashT (duh), ADF, Westside, Corvallis, and Salmon Creek. Other Washington clubs include Black Hills, Thurston County, and Tri-Cities FC. One 05 team from CA. List of accepted teams may not be final.

Contrary to earlier rumors, none of the top Seattle clubs appears to be coming to play Clash.

cRash at the Border is scraping bottom. Like an irritated rash.

Would be nice if there was a facility around like a Silverlakes or a Sixty Acres that could host a major tournament at one site.

I think it’s the best tourney to start your year. You always get quality games

                  Soccer In The Sand

Anybody sending any teams over to beach this weekend?

Clash Brackets are out, on the Super group we have Westside and WA T on the Post DA end and then we have ADF, Cuervos, and Salmon Creek from OYSA. Who’s taking the tournament home? (And a log slice).

Will be interesting to see how both those DA teams replace their top scorers from last year (both are now at TA) and how ADF incorporates a TA castoff back into its fold. Not sure if Cuervos or Salmon creek are even relevant???? Should make for good talking soccer banter for a few week until the next tournament. Anyone hear/know how UPDX looks after taking on the traveling tryout circus of ex TA players??? Surprised they have not scrimmaged the OPFC 05’s and beat them 4-0 since everyone else supposedly has?

Has the TA roster been officially released yet? I hear plenty of speculation and descriptions, but haven't yet heard official names.

Haven’t seen one for any of the younger age groups.

Heard FC PDX, Cuervos, a couple TA teams (playing in the “b” bracket), and maybe an OPFC group. Only FC PDX and Cuervos used club names though.

In the "A" bracket: OPFC and FCP played to a draw and finished tied for first with 10 points each, but OPFC took home the hardware due to having a better point differential through the weekend. FC Salmon Creek took third with 6 points

In the "B" bracket: TA 05's took first with 12 points followed by the TA 06's with 9 points. Cuervos finished third with 6 points, followed by Kalama Cascade Electric & Plumbing and Scapoose!

The "C" bracket saw Oregon Trail Futbol Club from Oregon City win it. Washington Timbers Red team finished third.

Looks like opfc and FC Portland should be glad they were not in the “b” bracket or they would have finished 4th and 5th
