This year these U19 teams are usually a mix of 2000s and 2001s and in some cases 2002s. For the committed Seniors in H.S., everyone handles this differently but this age group is super competitive in ECNL this year. Just look at the number of Draws in this age group. These teams are loaded with girls that will be on teams in the Power 5 conferences next year. Not with FESA but it's not a a big surprise that FESA doesn't dominate like it used to in Florida in this age group.

Well then the answer is TBU.

"These U19 teams are usually a mix of 2000s and 2001s and in some cases 2002s." For that reason, most of teams have a mix of players that are different than last year and have needed to come together as a team. The team that does this the best will emerge.

At this age, a year up or down won’t matter

No, but team chemistry does. Whichever coach can get his squad playing together as a unit will have the advantage in this very even age bracket of ECNL.

At U19, you are out of time. You are committed to a college or not. You have chemistry with your teammates or you don't. Whatever was working for fesa ecnl girls before is no longer working now.

Sunrise and the Texans would beat all the 01 or composite ecnl teams in Florida. They probably have as much or more talent and D-1 commits as any other team out there.

I've never seen Texans play. What league are they in? Where are they based out of?

Texans are out of the panhandle Pensacola area, while Sunrise is South Florida around Ft. Lauderdale. Most teams play FSPL or SFUYSA, unsure of where they are now.

I think the Texans went to another league that plays TN, AR, MS and LA teams. It’s more competitive than FSPL or South FL

The Sunrise team is several years old news. They haven't played any competition since we left for ECNL/ DA up her in JAX. We have better commits going to better schools hands down.
                              Not even close...end of story.

Agreed. Just check out their web site. It's filled with stuff the 98/99 team did. The current teams are at the top end of the leagues they play but those leagues are not that high. When there was a massive storm up north last January, several ECNL clubs had to drop out of the Sanford ECNL showcase at the last moment because they couldn't get out of the aiports. ECNL invited Sunrise to enter their teams in an attempt to get some games played. The Sunsrise teams went less than .500 and some ages suffered some lopsided defeats. You could be a State Cup champion and still be middle of the pack in ECNL.
