I don't get it, why MPS U12 Bulldogs has to play FC Stars of Ma 3 times .
Why there is Saturday games too? Isn't Saturday supposed to be town travel soccer day?

And you will get a bye because of the odd number of teams in blue. Someone from Maple needs to tell mystery team that they don't belong but of course that would require a little bit of effort, so it won't happen.

          Probably because of field availability??

            More likely coach availability.

I knew NEP was better than Maple.

While NEP wants games on Sunday's, if the two coaches agree, they can play on Saturday.

That is odd, must be an oversight...

According to MYSA rules, town teams have priority on Saturdays. Those rules were designed to protect kids and families from being pushed in too many directions. But of course NEP is above such things, correct?

This is an unfortunate change in recent culture where clubs and leagues don't care about town soccer. Historically Saturdays were saved for town travel soccer but it seems noone cares about this any more. ECNL, NPL, NEP all have games on Saturday really making it difficult for kids to play with their friends in town.

Those priorities are so yesterday. The reason the Saturday games don't matter is the town teams generally play in the mornings which leaves the clubs plenty of time to organize a game for the afternoon. No different than a typical tournament weekend.

At least in BAYS, Girls town games are played in the morning. Boys games are all played in the afternoon. But who cares what the kids and families might want, as long as it works out for the coaches and the clubs.

Really? I can't remember the last time my kid played before noon on a Saturday.

The sooner you adjust your entire families schedule to club soccer the better. All serious soccer players give up friends, family, church, school and other distractions in pursuit of soccer immortality and glory.
