A Russian politician says Russia stole the US presidency. True or not at a minimum Putin has gotten exactly what he wants - for our democracy to be in shambles and our power reduced. He couldn't have selected a better puppet than Trump

"Vyacheslav Nikonov, a member of the Russian parliamentary body, the Duma, made the remarks on the panel show “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov.”

The focus of the episode was the decline of U.S. power in the world. In that context, said University of Virginia professor Allen ***** via email, Nikonov was less stating the extent of Russia's involvement in the 2016 election, and more mocking the resulting chaos as emblematic of U.S. weakness. “His point in making the remark was that if the U.S. can’t protect the integrity of its own electoral system, then how powerful can it really be?” wrote *****."

      Getting worse Cons.

This just dropped . Sat night. In response to a FIA request.

That FISA warrant on Carter Page. Oct 2016 , in other words BEFORE election.

      https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthel.../optimized.pdf

“This application targets Carter Page,” the application said. “The F.B.I. believes Page has been the subject of targeted recruitment by the Russian government.” A line was then redacted, and then it picked up with “undermine and influence the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential election in violation of U.S. criminal law. Mr. Page is a former foreign policy adviser to a candidate for U.S. president.”

      ...

Visible portions showed that the F.B.I. in stark terms had told the intelligence court that Mr. Page “has established relationships with Russian government officials, including Russian intelligence officers”; that the bureau believed “the Russian government’s efforts are being coordinated with Page and perhaps other individuals associated with” Mr. Trump’s campaign; and that Mr. Page “has been collaborating and conspiring with the Russian government.”
Puts to rest notion that “sore losers” dreamed up a “witch hunt” doesn’t it? I mean this was filed when everyone thought HRC would win, right Cons? That’s what trump said right? No one believed innictober he could win.

      Tee hee

The Trump Russia collusion fantasy is Democrats version of birtherism. Is it just a coincidence both were started by the Clinton campaigns?

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said on Sunday that President Donald Trump’s advisers should consider leaving the White House if Trump continues to publicly disparage the nation’s intelligence community and cast doubt on the evidence that Russia attempted to interfere in the 2016 election.

“The president either needs to rely on the people that he has chosen to advise him, or those advisers need to re-evaluate whether or not they can serve in this administration,” Gowdy said on Fox News Sunday, referring to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley. “But the disconnect cannot continue. The evidence is overwhelming and the president needs to say that and act like it.”

But, as we all know, Trump won't say it and act like it because he's in Putin's pocket.

Hillary starting birtherism has been debunked thoroughly. Doesn't prevent Cons believing congenital liar Trump, though. Lickspittles to the core.

                                WSJ/NBC Poll

The survey found Democrats leading by 6 percentage points on the question of which party should control the next Congress, down from a 10-point advantage in June and 7 points in April. Some 49% of voters in the new survey said Democrats should lead the next Congress, while 43% favored the GOP. The survey was taken over a four-day period that started July 15.
