It really will be a finale! All these teams and players will be back in OYSA in the fall!

But they will have been Developed. Unlike those poor schlubs at ADF and PCU, who will barely know what a soccer ball is after spending another year in the dreaded OYSA.

        Isn’t the Baby DA disbanding?

Lots of rumors around here to that effect; whether or not they are true is another question.

(Many people come into this forum and make sh~t up, after all).

OTOH, Little DA currently ends at U14. Unless there is more expansion next year, the only U15s playing DA will be those at Timbers Academy.

Not that it matters much--the top clubs will more or less offer the same coaching and such whether or not they have a DA patch.

Timbers Academy is dumping DA for younger age groups.

Not all. Vantucky got invited to the Seattle DA. They will not be in OYSA

Have you seen how these teams play? Horrendous Timbers bootball.

The post above is spot on. ADF and PCU are very good athletic teams and they might even string a few combination passes throughout the game. But they are not taught to build out of the back. I’ve watched these two play. Their goalkeepers punt 10-15 times a game and goal kicks result in smashing it up the field because the players are not comfortable with the ball.

Vantucky almost lose this weekend? 3-2 seems pretty close for those two teams.

                      Crossfire vs Eastside score?

Did Eastside sit back and absorb the pressure the whole game like they were at the end of the fall season?

Surprisingly, no. Crossfire spent most of the game on their heels. Their goal came on a long ball counter attack. Eastside had the most of the ball on this occasion.
