Yeah, any details on what happened? Was their semi loss to Eugene a forfeit?

Not sure. La Amistad was tied 1-1 with Eugene in the Semi Final of the Mt Hood Challenge. A lot of calls were going against them, and both coach and the parents were very vocal. Coach was give a red card and kicked out. Ref forfeited the game and Eugene got the 3-0 win. Then Crossfire went on to easily handle Eugene in the finals.

          OYSA Fall Legaue Premiere

Schedules are out. Any thoughts? Looks like a couple matchups right out of the shoot, will tell us a lot about title contenders.

            1. WST

                3.) FCPDX (Great Club)
4.) ADF (Not their best age group, but great coaching)
5.) WST (Jackbooted thugs who will foul teams into submission)
                6.) ETFC

We agree on the last three. Not sure what the folks in here are smokin'.

                  Summer Highlights:

-Crossfire lost to FCP Portland and also beat them. They also lost to Seattle United Tango (B) 3-2. Crossfire is an amazing team full of extreme athletes. They are elite athletically with maybe the best soccer IQ and technique.

-IFC lost 0-6 to same team FCPDX beat 3-2 in the Champs Ligue. Have a few really talented kids but no real structure.

-FC Portland is all business, all the time. Their coach is the 2nd best to Westside. He's magic. Best program and play.

-ADF beat Seattle United (A) team 3-2. Also lost 0-1 to team that beat IFC 6-0 but FC Portland beat 3-2. Who is their coach, still that Joe guy?

-Westside is the best team by far. The coach for Westside is an amazing trainer and always has their kids ready. Westside will once again rule Oregon soccer!!!!!!!!!

                  My take:

                  1.) Westside
                  2.) FC Portland
                  3.) Crossfire
                  4.) IFC
                  5.) ADF
                  6.) Eugene
                  7.) Bend
                  8.) 4H JJ

I will grant you that WST may have a great coach and some good players, but you left one summer highlight out. Crossfire beat WST in the finals at Clash. Going to be a fun season, with a lot of competitive games.

Curious why you are on here and feeling the need to post if 05 is too young to care?

Any other highlights for WST? That previous poster listed the other teams key losses and or questionable wins...but then gushed about his man crush on the WST coach and revealed nothing about their summer record. I know I saw WST, and they are a completely different team. They must have had a lot of 04's last year.

2005 is u12. The first year of DA is currently 2004 u12s but next year the 2005s will be u13 & the DA is catching up to align with the rest of us so 2005s will be u13 in DA also. 2nd year of DA seems plenty old to care.
