Whenever they get around to it. No competition now that OPL is on hiatus, so they just rake in the dough and drink it away all week instead of working.

As soon as THUSC and FC quit whining about their placements.

Yeah, it's tough when OYSA wants to put ALL of your teams in the top Premier division but can't fit them in because there are too many division 4 Alliance teams already there.

U13 and up was supposed to be posted last Friday; don't know what the delay is.

Supposedly, U11-12 preliminary schedules will be release this week, with final schedules posted by the end of the week.

Delay is most likely due to participating clubs not providing field availability or adequate field availability. If not enough fields are provided no games can be scheduled. Ask your club, they may be the hold up.

September 4th is the date I heard recently. First fall games are about a week after that so it makes sense..

U13 and above was already sent to the coaches for approval. They won't officially post those on the site until the younger ones are done as well (just in case a coach has 2 teams for example and something was done incorrectly). The youngers are supposed to be sent to the coaches for review this Wed. The delay is probably due to lack of 9 a side fields available from the clubs.

Especially as all 9v9 "Premier" games MUST have the smaller goals. A lot of the smaller clubs don't have their own fields or their own goals so they are in trouble.

Good to hear.... putting 10-year-olds in full-size goals is a joke.

Keep them on the big goal get them in the habit at hitting corners instead of shooting at the keeper.

Smaller goals have corners to shoot at too, you know.... but the kids actually have to aim and project their shots; not simply boot up low-velocity lobs that the GK couldn't reach with a stepladder.

On the plus side--large goals do help defenders learn to play defense. In a game with no goals, the coach's instructions to the backs are clear: "no shots".
