    GU 14 OPL is TERRIBLE!

GU 14 NPL might as well be called the PML.

It is terrible. Every team in GU14 OYSA would bump an Opl team to the next division. FCSC is the only team the stays....and they are moving to OYSA next year anyways so it doesn't matter.

Good for them. It's nice for you to have an opinion about something.

Nemesis folds after this year. Some girls to ECNL, some to Academy.

Keep thumping your chest about OYSA girls soccer. It's never been worse and it's on a downhill slide.

GU14 OYSA looks much improved with Rogue Valley and Eugene leading the pack.

Yep. Eastside and Westside can't even win a split league! They'd probably be relegated in a unified league. Primary reason why the Timbers don't want a unified league...

You are a clown. The top U14 girls division of the OPL is full of 2nd tier teams with the exception of Salmon Creek who is the class of both leagues.

We already know who was getting relegated in a unified league from last Fall's results...and it was FC Portland and LO.

That was a year ago. Things change. And not for the better for Eastside and Westside. Enjoy your mid-pack finish in a split league while you still have a team...

Grants pass appears to be 'developing' better then EST and WST.

Adding a couple of girls to ETFC and having them dominate is not a sign of a quality league. Bash all you want but you may want to do some introspection on the OYSA.

We aren't talking ECNL here, dumb-dumb.

The only thing that has changed is the already weak OPL U14 division is even weaker with the better THUSC, FC and LO players moving to their ECNL teams. If FC and LO were getting relegated last year, they would be demolished this year in a combined league. Medford and Eugene are significantly better than any team except Salmon Creek in the OPL.

From here on out, once the FC, THUSC and Crossfire girls teams reach the U14 age group their best players will drop out of the local state leagues for the ECNL. Beginning with this age group and younger age groups moving forward, if you stay in the OPL you are playing in a 2nd tier league. ECNL will destroy the OPL above the U14 age group moving forward.

Sad to say, but this is the truth.

Then the ENCL teams will be destroying the OYSA teams, so they will have to start making combined teams at those ages to keep up and will pretty much do the same thing to all the Timber Premier teams. Pretty much destroying premier and making it insignificant past U14. ENCL and Academy will be the new Premier.

Grants Pass? They lost 5-1 and 4-0 to Westside and Eastside the last time they played. That's a joke.

As for Eugene, the few girls they added are some of the better players in the state in this age group. You know, kind of like the girls added to the FC ECNL team who took them from the doormat of the OPL last Fall to a legitimate dangerous team.

Neither the OYSA or OPL is better off for the split, but in this particular age group the OPL is easily the weaker of the two leagues.

Except ECNL is from U14 - 18. Thorns is only for one year at an older age bracket.

Are you really arguing about OPL vs OYSA at the U14 or higher age groups? Potato, Po-tah-to. You are arguing over two weak leagues. Who cares. If your daughter isn't playing ECNL what's the difference.

Right now--yes. But once ENCL teams start winning, then what do you think the Timbers will do? They will start making academy teams at U14 also.

Who cares. After this season, they all go play H.S. and disappear.

Although from recent results it would appear FC ECNL team is just dangerous, they would appear to be the best team in the area.
