ECNL/ECRL is stability. There is a clear movement to make the ECRL a much stronger league. Also, clubs want to be under the US Club umbrella. Boys side with MLS is the clear acception.

That’s absolutely true can’t miss that boat, otherwise you’ll continue losing players anyway. We had our goalie bolt for PDA ECNL and we’ve even had a few kids go to top USYS teams as well. Not a great sign so not surprised clubs are looking at all options. Ultimately they want to have a good business and retain players. How many ECRL players committed in the past anyways. ECRL is a joke if you are U16 or above. Just 1/1000 chance of going anywhere. The league is a marketing ploy. The chance to play ECNL teams in playoffs is 1/8. The ECNL teams you play in playoffs are the ones from the bottom 1/4 of the league. There are zero college coaches watching those games.Comment
