Creating a list of players from clubs that participated in the ecnl league or da league that the players can’t even get a decent offer to a naia school let alone d2. List is quite long. Care to provide names for that?

Finding out a lot quit after they realize they’ve been scammed by their coach talking about a league that was going to save them. Also anything with the thorns you have to realize that most of those kids were committed prior from other clubs before taking a one year experience in something they realized wasn’t what it was sold to be.

Go somewhere your coach is invested in all the players. You would be surprised how many kids are stuck saying talking about a league while the colleges pass on them for an actual good player.

Can’t wait for my kid to play 12 years of club soccer at thorns to be told some random kid from Corvallis is going to a better school.

      Awesome.

Your kid can go to any school they can get accepted to and you can pay for.

Having a pulse is all that's required to join in the title ix activities at the college level, men's college football creates a $$$$ spend imbalance for men, that must be offset with spending on low interest cheap women's sports like soccer. Like they say, It's better to be lucky, than good. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut. This is supply side economics gone wrong--with so little interest in playing girls soccer in college across the nation, it's rough and difficult for 'coaches' trying to fill rosters each year with attrition and apathy. But this is how it is for now.

            'A' listers for sure.

Thanks. Release paperwork went through yesterday. It’s good to be out. Wasn’t terrible except that the roommate didn’t bathe the entire 14 days. You never get used to the smell. It’s burned into my very being.
Good to have you back Title IX Ted. There’s no one to laugh at when you aren’t hear having tantrums.

Can someone get Title IX Ted a pacifier and change his nappy. He gets fussy when sitting there for hours in need of a diaper change.

Can think of many ecnl and gda starters or significant minutes at Cal(GDA)Oregon(ECNL), Arizona(ECNL), Seattle U(GDA), USF(GDA), UP(few ECNL, 1GDA)

Which current D1 rosters have OYSA players starting or playing consistent decent minutes? There must be more than at OSU.
A couple Oysa, Ecnl and Gda playing and doing well with the Beavers. OYSA player transferred out of UO to Nevada, started and played but lost to UNLV. Other OYSA players I could find on better D1 rosters not playing much. Many playing and doing well at D3, D2, NAIA and JCs. Searching the internets, the Ecnl and Gda players currently have a big edge on D1 playing time, with the exception of Salmon Creek players. GPS players will be next year so don’t know yet. However, their highest recruit (to USC) isn’t even going to play in college at all anymore. My guess is it’s not the coaching. OYSA has some great coaches. It’s the weak competition in OYSA that fails to prepare those players for the next level as well as gives the illusion that they are better than they are. Even though the new Gal will be a big step down from Ecnl, it will be a big step up from Oysa, particularly at national events.

Not sure who lied to you but you are 20% correct and most of what you are saying has little to no factual evidence. You need to list the players that did not even make a naia school coming from ecnl clubs which is really high and leaves your argument about one league to another looking pretty desperate. Should also point out the kids that came from crossfire that quit after their freshman year because they were fooled on one thing and ended up with another.

You really need to talk to someone or actually do some research because what you are writing is the exact reason why no one trusts scammers talking about leagues.

Guess it goes to show you that lies come plenty at those clubs. With the massive amount of families that talk about the scams I can see why.

Sold on a ecnl league. Ended up finding out oysa players going to better schools with better offers. What gives? Also found out that a lot of those ecnl kids don’t actually play and the scammer on here is talking about players in the run hit and senior year.

Don’t trust the ecnl liars. They literally need your money and players or they are stuck justifying why they can only service 3-4 players on a team while the rest are cannon fodder.

If OYSA players are going to better schools it’s not because of OYSA. All credit should always go to the players, never the league. Parents should support finding the best team that will help the player be impactful and grow confidence in their play. Showcases are nice but they won’t help if you don’t play much or when you do you look bad. Even on a losing team in a lesser league, if you standout coaches will notice.

OYSA is not helpful. It is the coaches and trainers.

It’s never the league until you are trying to sell parents who don’t know any better.

                              It’s always been the coach > team > club > player > family > 10 other things > league.

                              Facts speak for themselves.

The teams that play in OYSA/NL can be very successful in college placements if they have good coaches. ECNL is ok but you have to get a good coach or you will regret it.

The league doesn't' matter that much. Travel a lot and get good competition and you will be fine. And train a lot and train smart.
