PSPL is planning State Cup Qualifiers and Championships. Separate weekends. If you play a game each day at different locations does it count as a tournament under the normal definition?

      From the state website.

A prohibition on tournaments for sporting activities does not include postseason, playoff, state or regional championship competitions with no more than four teams at one site sanctioned by a statewide interscholastic activities administrative and rule-making body that oversees competition in all counties in the state.

IMHO - it does not differentiate between school and club activities just because it says interscholastic. What they really mean is that you have a real state org that oversees it - like PSPL. So, as long as you have no more than 2 games a day at each location you're good. Not sure how they account for breaks....for example: at site 1 with 2 fields you have games at 9:00, 1:00, and 5:00? That should ensure there is no overlap between games/players. Does that count? I would think so.

In a year with only 2.5 months of soccer, SU grew its payroll.

Perhaps your crappy club only had two months of soccer. Our club trained 4X a week all year and they did the best they could to provide as much as possible. Maybe club X actually had to hire coaches etc.

Not bad for 2 games played and no tournaments. At least tryouts are in about a month. We can start this all over again.

Maybe they had to hire staff to produce and edit The Jimmy and Kyle Show

Pretty easy to get it from non-profit tax filings. 501c3 financial data is public record.
