It is time for us Brevard parents to get together and force our ego driven clubs to do what is best for the kids and support a concept like BSA for the benefit of the kids.

If "BSA" is going to work, they need a serious upgrade in coaching. Too many "Daddy" coaches and State Cup coaches that have no idea how to coach and train upper level teams.

I wish that something like this would happen and work. Seems like each team in Brevard has 2-3 really talented kids. Put them all on one team with some good training and a good coach, that would be nice.

The recreational programs will stay the same, the competitive programs are already being played under the BSA name. They have a college coach working hard at getting the best coaches and trainers, and there will be no more "daddy" coaches for state cup teams unless it is in the best interest of the team-the DOC will have to decide that one with the team and coach. Their board is honest, and up to date with all financial records, in good standing with FYSA and they are looking at building a club in Brevard so that we can all work together to keep the kids local, and not having to travel to play at a higher level of soccer.
