Player numbers were selected today for Region C.

If they heard nothing today they didn't make it, right?

Those not selected at trials were encouraged to attend Training Center if interested. They also mentioned that they plan on attending some tournaments for "scouting". Sometime before the December holidays the other players selected for pool training will contacted.

Region C had about 20 selected. Those not selected were encouraged to participate in next month's training center. Notification of all those selected for pool training will be before December's holidays.

After this past weekend and the first session back in January, there were about 70-80 girls on average. About 7-8 were keeper, 10-12 forward-type players and the rest midfielder and defenders. Of that mix, less than a handful I would say are true strikers.

Is that good or bad? Any thoughts on that?

what is a true striker. hahaha. a player sitting up top waiting for the ideal ball. Defenders and midfielders can strike and are playing where coaches put them.

ODP coaches were out and about this past weekend at State Cup. This weekend is the final training session for the season. Any thoughts on how SC performance may influences the player selection?

So there will be 3 teams selected for Alabame (54 players). Is it ok to say that the breakdown may consist of 6 keeper, 15 forwards, 15 mids, and 18 defenders. Basing that since I saw lots of 4-3-3 formation used.

So Wrong.. the older groups this weekend a couple of new wers brought in.. So you can bet if anyone impressed this week at SC they will be brought in.

Not what they told the ODP players this weekend down in Ft Myers. Whatever. If your child didn't make it the first round, and mine didn't, they need to work harder to make an impression on the coaches for next year.

At Sunday parent's "meeting" MS stated 3 teams to Alabama. An "A" team and two "B" teams. He also mentioned that by the end of the month he wanted to finalize the rosters and notify players.

I think it's a great program and I've spoken to many parents who also think it's a great program. You have the option of saving your money and not participating.
