Florida Fire keeper stayed with Florida Fire, although Weston threw everything short of offering him a contract to get him.

Im sure their will still be some very good games this year between all of the above formentioned teams. Florida Fire was already an academy level team with academy level players. I would think it would be difficult to beat them if they didnt lose any players. We know the keeper stayed, but did any of the other players leave the team?

Yes and No. I wouldnt call it decimated maybe 2 to 3 players which would be a combination of some older players or even younger players that were selected by the U14 DA. Know that at least here in Central Florida OCYS and Florida Rush have actually remained quite strong. OCYS especially as they picked up many of the FCA kids whose team disbanded. Still early though. We shall see as the season moves forward.

You can believe that Florida Fire was already an academy level team all you want. However, teams like Team Boca, FC Florida, Margate are loaded due to the same reasons Florida Fire are. Proximity to DAs. If they were anywhere near academies they would be decimated as well. They will challenge Florida Fire all they way for supremacy of the age group.
