No, but those are organizations not people under contract with those organizations. There are bylaws and contracts these coaches agree to as part of their job. There is an appropriate time to have discussion about moving intended to minimize the damage you can do to a club that you are currently trusted to work for. The rules are there for a reason and if a club/coach/representative is violating them, they should be held accountable. The sanctions for violating these rules are pretty stiff.

Whether the coaches like it or not, they agreed to them and should follow them or don't coach under the fysa.

I've always laughed at the concept of coaches "taking the players with them". If you allow a youth soccer coach to make those decisions for you, you will lose in the end. Do what's right for your own kid. Don't be loyal to these dime-a-dozen pied pipers.

No matter what you've heard- there's lots of capable coaches out there. The real key to success is the players' heart and drive. There are no magic beans or 'systems". this year's successful coach is next year's has-been or pretender.

You are right to an extent, but there are coaches that are better than others and ones that are worse than others, so if your child is playing for a coach that you consider better than others than you want them to keep playing for them.

On the other hand, playing for a variety of coaches (and coaching styles) can be a good thing, too. My kid played for one of the best coaches- a great teacher, tactician and leader- and one of the worst- a hard drinking blowhard- in her youth soccer career. Both helped prepare her for the college experience, but in different ways!

Actually it was a rec tournament and it was a very well run tournament despite all the bad weather that had to be overcome that entire weekend, especially for a first year club.

It is first year club when it is convenient and then a long time established community staff when it is convenient.

Actually, it was a pretty specific statement that the poster made and not just a blanket about the tournament. They said that they didn't want to play two teams that struggle, which would mean that they are talking about the U11G division. So it is quite possible that it is someone from MUSC since that was the division mentioned. I would say that there is still more than a month before the tournament so there is time for more teams to apply. In the past this was a good tournament to end the year with, but it has been dropping off over the last few years. Not every statement about your club is from FKK, you should really realize that there are more clubs than them around.

Actually, the U11 girls bracket includes a U10 team that is very good. I would assume the posted is just afraid to a younger team!

Thats a team that worked hard and got results under J.A., and going to Alabama for the Presidents Cup Regionals. If the rumors are true (which most of the time are not). The first team coach has signed with OCYS and is taking most of the girls with him. Leaving the second team as the A team. Good for the girls.

Congrats to the team, i saw them play at Disney. The backline needs work, hopefully you pick new players at tryouts to reinforce the team.

Many of the coach's, staff members etc are people that have been entrenched in the community for a very long time. That doesn't change the fact that it is still a first year club that has to build itself back up. Am I wrong?
