Any updates to the Mass guidelines. Spring soccer starts in less than a month. Has anyone heard anything about lifting restrictions?

The Massachusetts protocols were updated on December 13, 2020 and amended on January 22, 2021. Soccer is still considered moderate risk. Masks will still be required (for everyone, including players, coaches, referees and spectators), there will still be restrictions on spectators as well as only Massachusetts-based teams may participate in sporting events held at Massachusetts facilities. No tournaments until Massachusetts moves to Phase IV.

The expectation is that the rules about interstate games will be lifted shortly.

They should be for nearby states - they're all doing pretty well with numbers and as long as you're in and out for just a game the risks are so minimal
