We all know college scholarships aren’t worth the ROI but the club soccer crowd is largely wealthy and isn’t looking for scholarship money as much as a bump with admissions into a college of choice and/or a chance to play college ball at any college, preferably d1. Whichever club gets the most of those two college prizes for their players will attract the most players and do the best by them. Who is best at those outcomes lately and who will be going forward? Go to whichever club is getting their players committed during these Covid times. Before Covid, that was Crossfire but now Legg is gone to coach college ball and I don’t see any tournament activity and no new commitments. Time will tell. The rogue Tiki Taka 03 team is only one team but has landed the highest percentage of recruits and is the only one that has been going to tournaments to be seen during Covid. Best chance for new commitments. So far they are in the top spot this year but will disappear next. I predict the Thorns Academy will take over top spot unless Crossfire gets back on track getting commitments or the new FCP leadership gets up to speed quickly on the field and has coaches helping their players get committed.

Which clubs do the few “excellent” girls coaches work at? Might be looking for a new club.
Doesnt the Academy have more more player tracking of stats and days of game review that the other Ecnl teams don’t have? Some program or software that colleges use? Do colleges still give bigger recruiting eyeballs to Academy girls, due to not knowing the situation in Oregon?

Why do you say people hate Rosie and Kevin Legg? Looks like the majority of people must like them, no? Why do you think Laura S was terrible? How is the new person different? Do people like the new coach a lot better?

Most clubs aren’t playing in any league due to the virus. Unlucky timing to start a new club. Girls may like having female role models.

A lot of useless and no reason hate all over youth soccer. Like both of those guys.

Explain why the top two high school teams in the state are made up almost exclusively ECNL players. ECNL players almost always make varsity their freshman year, maybe an exception here and there, where they are playing for the pure fun of playing their high school.
