Not the poster but it's really only the stronger programs that are locking in 2022s (which of course technically isn't supposed to be happening but it's always going to go on). There's still room at mid to lower D1s for 2021s and certainly D2 and D3. But 2021s should have already gotten themselves on radars and be attending ID events.

Also, boys v girls. Boys more likely to still have spots.

Yes boys continue to operate like before. They won't be crammed into an August frenzy because other than the top studs early recruiting didn't happen that often. I've had one of each and boys is so much more rational and in line with non athlete decision making

May be time to revisit this after 9 months of purgatory.

              Recruiting only paused 4 months?

Dear period until mid Aril but not all programs have to stick by that. The issue is lack of showcases and trying to plan for something that is so up in the air. Cases are just want too high across the country right now so I don't think you'll see any events until at least February.

Three vaccine manufacturers are applying for emergency FDA approval. if all three can produce, the market will be flooded and more can get vax'd sooner than if it's just one company. If that happens April and afterwards looks very promising for ALL of us. What a freaking year it's been.

Although this is a LAX article, it’s pretty informative and applies to D1 soccer programs and all the juggling, bloated rosters, future recruiting, and logistical scholarship finagling coaches are dealing with. Bottom line, 2022 incoming classes will be smaller.

Alittle trickier but if your kid is talented it will be worked out.

^ And if you target well. Don't lose precious time shooting at the wrong targets.

The key is not being delusional in regards to your kids ability.Make a realistic list, returning players have affected all aspects of recruitment.Target wisely and don’t ignore or blow off schools that are interested who may not fit your expectations.
