The only clarification needed is if 4 means 3 players and 1 coach, or 4 players. Which, either way, means a coach is working 4, 5, 6, times as many hours to train the same number of players.
was told it means 4 players on each field.

Not to throw a wet towel on things but USYS pulled the plug on insurance coverage for all of their carded players in CT. Clubs will be hesitant to train without insurance coverage from USYS.
Note ECNL falls under US Club. They have not pulled insurance coverage for their players.

that's my reading as well, but its definitely not clear and spot checks are real.

"jointly engaged organized or recreational athletic activity on a field..."

if the "athletics" are the thing that is jointly engaged in, then yes 4 players plus a coach if he's only instructing.

if the "activity" is the thing that is jointly engaged in, then the coach is counted in the 4. He's paid to be engaged in the activity.

What is prohibited during Team Sports on Pause:
Participation in High Risk Sports (other than conditioning/non-contact drills)
All Team scrimmages, competitions, camps, clinics and tournaments (including all interscholastic, “pick-up” games, and other informal athletic activities)
Participation in any out-of-state Team practices (including conditioning), competitions, camps, clinics and tournaments by CT residents
Participation in competitions, camps, clinics, tournaments in CT by out-of-state Teams
Teams are not able to break up into smaller groups to practice or compete (e.g. a 20 person team practicing or competing in groups of 4 or less at the same time and location is not allowed)

FSA is not going to do any training. They will tell you that the 4 person training is being planed but they know full well the logisitics, if it is even allowed, is not possible. Its a deflection of sorts. Time will pass, the fields will be covered in snow, they will tell their coaches to do some zoom bull crap footwork drills in your living room and the young kids parents will love it. Look, little johnny is practicing!!! Then spring will roll around and you will get an online notice saying you owe the full amount. FSA does not give a rats ass about any player. All they care about is the payment and the win.

Good, soccer isnt a high-risk sport. Carry on. Now do you see why everyone wants clarification?

No, I really don't. That was just a random copy paste from the rules.

There's a definition of team that controls alot of it. There's also a list of allowed activities.

Sorry to offend you Ditomasso boys. But Im not your buddy and Im no longer a part of your club. See in America, when a business does not a provide a quality service or a product, people stop paying that business. Hopefully everyone makes their next payment on time so you can go get a new Mercedes.

With youth sports there's a fresh supply of customers. People keep having kids. Piss off a few people and there's always someone behind them willing to write a check.
