Actually the TBU - WFF game was a good close game. The score indicates it was a blow out but it was actually a close game.

It was 1-0 with 20 minutes to go, WFF missed a PK to tie it and got a player red carded (what was incorrect, referee got it mixed up with the 2nd yellows).

The coach seemed to go for it anyway and went with 2 in the back to try to tie the game.
Credit to TBU, they took advantage, counter attacked and scored 3 goals in the final 15 minutes.

TBU ECNL is a very good team and versus Coral Estates we got a little lucky winning 1-0, although, they had 70% possession. Coral Estates is clearly the favorite to win state cup but in one game anything is possible. WFF might not make it to the final anyway since the Bandits are a good team in their own right and favored against WFF.

TBU actually missed a couple of easy ops too.

TBU didn't get lucky winning at Coral Estates. If you were at the game then you know in the first 15-20 minutes Coral's speed, and skill definitely overwhelmed TBU a bit, and they could have gone down early, but by the second half TBU started to dictate the game, their depth took over, and won. Coral had about 70% possession in the first 20 minutes, but it was about even from that point forward. But that Coral Estates team is good, a non-DA/ENCL team that is every bit as good as many programs in those ranks...they are a rare program like that out there where they've kept an outstanding core of players.

I still think if WFF gets a few breaks, and plays to their potential they can beat Coral Estates...but that team has won 25 games since October, 5 ties, and 5 losses. Other than TBU, the only other teams to beat them were the #2 team in the country, and #11, Doral....and they beat the #5 team, a Phoenix based ECNL team. Coral Estates is legit.

Yes, I left several things out concerning the last 15 minutes. Our Coach had to gamble because he had no choice. His attitude has always been, 1-0 loss or a 6-0 loss is still a loss. The PK was at 3-0 so it did not matter anymore at that stage of the game.

Bottom line: It was a very good game. with TBU missing several chances and WFF missing several chances. Congrats to TBU, well done.

The rejects are playing in the Academy.....Their so called coaches would have missed Missed Messi, Pele and Maradona, they are so incapled of spotting talent. Who have they actually helped to make it in the "Quality" MLS? or anywhere else....

The top 5 or 6 players at virtually any DA (minus Armada) are going to be better than almost any club player - club parents, don’t ever forget that. Great club players could make any DA and if you’re kid is coming off the bench on a DA team, your spot could be taken anytime - DA parents, don’t ever forget that. There is a ton of talent out there.
