Last year record after 7 games was 13W 19L 3T -13 GD
This year record thru 7 games was 14W 16L 5T -6 GD

U17 - last year seventh, this year 2nd (not 6th)
U18 - last year third, this year 6th (not 7th)
The U14 team is in 4th place, not second.
With that said, the season is far from over. All teams could turn it around and climb much higher. The U17 team is doing better this year and the other teams have six games to earn points and climb in the standings.

They said their own coach, which would be their 4th since this summer, has players playing out of position and without direction. They all said they are glad it is their child's last season and that they feel sorry for the younger girls coming up. Now this is the team that finished 3rd in all of ECNL in July, and now yesterday, they were beaten by a one of the worst teams in the Southern Conference 4-2! They were down 4-0 at one point! I would say the experiment with the new ECNL coaches has been a disaster and BL needs to go back to directing Rec soccer. Sure hope the BOD is proud of this failure this season! The ECNL program at VSI WFF needs a true leader and a person that knows how to run a soccer program at this level. That person will not be found in house. They need to go out and find this person before the whole program implodes!
Club record thru 8 games last year: 14W 22L 4T GF 53 GA 73 GD -20
Club record thru 8 games this year: 16W 19L 5T GF 65 GA 76 GD -11
Bring the data! Love the anecdotal comments tho "I was talking to two U15 parents the other day and they said the coaches are no good and the club has poor leadership" hahahahahaha
BRING SOME DATA!!!!

It's happening on the 14-16 age groups. It is hard to accept that this club full of "soccer knowledge" gave roster spots to some of these players. Why weren't the tough decisions made? How About correcting course now!! Let's evaluate players right now that we have a break and make those phone calls to the parents and tell them "we made a mistake, we need to move your child down". Then, let's play to win! Competitive sports does not equal to 50% playing time for subs!! It doesn't happen in college, doesn't happen in the pros, hell...it doesn't happen in other clubs! Let's prove to the group of us who pay the salaries that the money is well spent and that we are in it to win!! Watching some of these players on the field hurts!!!!

There are so many things that are wrong with WFF. Most of the ECNL teams can not compete, top level players and their parents do not want to step foot in this club. The level of training is not worth the $$ being spent. 70% of the coaches are not worth paying at all. Little or know communication. This is not just a U16 problem. U14, U15 , U17 and U18 too.
