    2018 Girls HS Coaching

So you would think for some schools it would be the coach’s head rolling instead of the ball at the seasons end; if for instance if Wach can’t repeat, as a minimum, winning their Sectional. It would seem the dynasty never happened for the private school up north, so much for Catholic girls having all the fun. Then there is Natick who rose fast and fell faster and those school choice lovin’ peeps of WH who well, might have been a tad overwhelmed with potential stardom. Let’s not forget to place a bit of pressure on Newton South where it is the coaches conference this year to lose and let’s not forget AB who might have to sponsor a citizenship bid for their old coach if he’s still ‘in country’ or does DB from stars step in now that he has his! so many schools so little time...

So who is in, who is out? Who’s on the coaching hot seat! Who’s on the pedestal at the end of the season!

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Coaching high school soccer is thankless job that pays very little $. It is not a high demand job. Most schools are happy to just have a coach.

OP is idiot. Who cares about discussing HS coaches on this TS cesspool.

OP also needs to understand the role of HS sports. To almost all administrations it isn't about racking up trophies. It's about creating community and school spirit as well as keeping kids active (both athletes and fans). How much the AD cares also has an impact. For many as long as the program does ok (not basement dwellers), there aren't any scandals and parents aren't calling him every day to complain then a HS coach's job is fairly safe. The pay sucks for the # of hours they have to put in. Finally, they have to deal with parents like the OP, always calling for him or her to be fired, bit*hing about their kid's PT. OP needs to just get over it, support the team, enjoy watching the kids enjoy it. it's their ride, not his, and it's over in a flash.
