A license coach does not mean good coach

    2 of the best coaches we have ever had were not licensed and to of the biggest POS we have had were C or better. I will look at a coach over a trained heard of cattle anyday.

      If coach is young, chances are a license lends credibility. If older, his first sessions or track record supersedes any license. Former players does not mean good coaches. If they were any good last thing on their minds would be coaching.

        Well, it depends. What is definitely necessary is improving as a coach - no-one knows it all. The day you stop learning and improving as a coach is the day you should give up coaching. It's certainly possible to improve without taking coaching license courses.
