Real NLIs or the pretend ones? Lots of schools publish pictures of their athletes wearing their college swag signing "letters" but for all schools, not just D1. Not all D1 kids are getting money either. I get that they want to show they're proud of their graduates but the "signing" is a bit much.

Ivies have the kids sign something. No athletic $$ of course, but they want you to feel like you signed an NLI.

I made it clear there was no $$ of any sort.

Most freshmen don't get anything athletic scholarship-wise. The usually go to upperclassmen and foreign students. They only have 11 scholarships to allocate how they see fit. Signing a NLI does not mean the student received a scholarship, sometimes it is just for show in that they have committed to a school. Congrats to all that have committed!

Even less - 9.9 scholarships and that's only if it's a fully funded program. If you dig into school data you can find how much $ they pay out in athletic dollars to get an idea of how much a school has to give out. That doesn't include merit grants or financial aid which some qualify for. I've heard of more schools telling freshmen that you "may" get money if you can prove yourself freshman year. It's also good to look at rosters to see how many international players they have. Some have quite a few, others hardly any.

This would be much more useful broken out by club with top 25 programs bolded.
