On another note, I doubt the new staff will honor the verbals with juniors and even some Sophomores. He's going to want to put his own spin on things.

Do you really think that CFC sent their players to Fairfield when JO was coaching that 5 win team ??

This hire will certainly not help stem that tide.

QU on the other hand, picked up several good CFC players over the last few years.

Guess you better start looking at other clubs to recruit from

And, some may want to move anyway. Finally if you want to build a top program you can't rely just on local players. A college coach's job is to recruit players from wherever he can to help win games, not keep local clubs happy

When comparing QU and FU, if there are CFc coaches at QU and not at FU, where do you think they will go Einstein? It isn’t always whether a player is good enough to play at a school that counts. It’s whether the coach thinks they are good enough. Knowing the coach at a college helps alleviate some of the uneasiness. If the FU guy is smart, he will try to get a CFC coach in there right quick. Hard to recruit nationally when you’re only the 5th or 6th best D1 program in your state.
