Doesn’t make sense. Whoever is overseeing it was competent enough to build a damn building and the indoor field. Other than drainage the outdoor fields are more of the same.

Some are claiming the storm upended everything. I haven't been to the site but did see the damage in Bethany. It was bad.

Whole different animal anal poker, everyone builds buildings, only a few contractors in the state are experienced in turf fields, obviously CFC hired a group that mows lawns and plants trees

Storm slow down progress this Spring.

However, Root cause of major delays was poor GC selection. CFC now suing GC. GC selection totally within control of "management"

You get what you pay for or in this case what you aren’t paying for

No contractors working there today, if you are behind, you work around the closer unless you aren’t getting paid

Unless you're a shi**y contractor or are in dispute with your client.

Here’s the scoop. Former CFC parent is a contractor who begged for the job and told them he could get it done. Decent reputation on smaller projects but was quickly over his head on this one and didn’t put in the time or resources necessary to complete this project. I don’t know if any of you have built anything whether it be a room, house or business, but once you start, it is difficult to change GCs and start over. They have you over a barrel with money already spent and contracts. If you fire them, which they apparently did, you are finishing the project out of pocket. Yes, you can try to recoup loses after the fact but that takes time. Hopefully they get the project complete and everything gets sorted without Court where the lawyers tend to be the only ones who get rich.

Some contractors don't want to take on half finished jobs either because they might find many more problems

More excuses, now we were to cheap and had no money left so we hired a crap contractor and it is all their fault, never ours. Grow a pair CFC brass, tell the parents the truth and when you get more money you will hire someone who is qualified to fix this fukfest we created

Our apologies, arrogant yet clueless CFC bosses

Shut up you idiot. We are the best club by a longshot. Stay in your crapfest and leave the soccer talk to the big boys. And if you’re in the club, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. That’s the truth.
