PDA south is the red-headed stepchild of North and the only comparison to North is $$$/cost and uniforms.

If you want to play teammates at indoor futsal South is the place to be.

Would rather go to a local township team like Real NJ any day over PDA South...Real (who by the way plays USYS EDP) is 10x better than either of the local GA or ECNL options....

How did exactly the GA not help itself? It added quality clubs like Ukies and Delaware, hopefully they will eventually push out some of the Jersey based DA bottom feeders.

The jersey bottom feeders like CSA and SJEB will eventually be replaced by quality clubs like DE and Ukies. Only a matter of time.

Are you people high? 'quality clubs' like Ukies and Delaware? Hahahaha!

SD didn't even exist so had to pay their way in to GAL for girls and ECNL for boys.

Anyway, great to see the desperate NJ parents on a PA soccer forum. #sad

Ukies are a complete sham of a program. Constant turnover in the coaching ranks, constant drama with parents behavior with coaches and amongst themselves and worst of all, they take talented kids from the area and do absolutely nothing to develop them into better players. Most of the players in my kids' age groups regressed after 2-3 years at Ukies. Every team takes the biggest and fastest kids and puts them at striker and they play kickball because if the coach doesn't win every game, they are getting fired. All the turf fields and clubhouse booze in the world can't make their teams competitive so the most talented kids in the area go elsewhere to play in ECNL.

How are they “a sham of a program”? I agree playing in GAL is not ideal but I don’t get the sham program part.

Frankly you’re better off at other local clubs like Europa, Warrington, West-Mont etc.

Every big PA club has this kind of turnover. Delco and PF routinely have coaches leaving midseason. Ukies are no different.

Maybe 1 or 2 here and there but it's definitely not 'routine'.

100% - this is so true. Didn’t used to be this way, but with recent changes it’s gotten so bad.

Probably because the league they are in (GAL) is very unstable and so the coaches may see the writing on the wall to jump to better opportunities at ECNL clubs in the area. Who wants to play CSA, SJEB, Delaware on a regular basis, not great for competitive development.

From the Jersey forum, ECNL added 6 GAL clubs for upcoming season apparently more to come.

Delco and PF do not have coaches leaving midseason routinely, that is 100% false!
