These same youth all-star teams demonstrated they had developed and eventually figured out how to beat the high level Amateur Men's team's at the Oregon Classic tournament in 2009 & 2010, development worked differently back then. Kids took their licks and then got to a point were they figured out how to beat the men.

so... what y'all are saying is... you conslidate, play where you are and beat the best where you are, then you can really go places? and all this without Elite Super Platinum Plutonium Universe Leagues??

and before y'all say anything about, "that's boys, not girls." that one good WSM ladies team from a while back, they played in the OPSL 6v6 shootout women's division and got rocked too.

Understand those two teams WSM 87's & WSM Internationals featured MLS players of today: Brian Rowe UCLA, LA Galaxy, Danny Mwanga 6 yrs MLS & Erik Hurtado MLS 4 yrs. Plus another 15-12 Division one men's players between the two squads. They followed the path of USYS State Cup, USYS Regionals & USYS Nationals and Tournaments like Surf, Dallas Cup & the Disney Showcase. Different era and a different level of talent.
