Just keep losing to FC and CU "B" teams and keep on thinking you're DD's team is all that.

Look the ECNL teams in Oregon are not good but they are doing the best they can. Give it another 3-4 years and I think you will see some traction. But for now they still are in the top ten in Oregon for their age groups which isn't bad.

It's a real struggle to recruit to the ECNL league due to the extreme cost. Travel is expensive and the league is just expensive. No way around it.

Not good now but will get better.

The FCP 2001 ECNL team finished in third place in OYSA not fourth.

That was a year ago. Let it go. And if you look at the OYSA results it was fourth place in OYSA premier. Not bad for an Oregon ECNL team.

Remember the good old days? Vancouver, had two tough teams. CFC, (En fuego before that) was always discounted as being a player team, yet somehow somebody else would always step up and beat your team. FCP....um, they were okay? I mean, they were FCP so they always thought they were better than they were. Eugene was okay, but not thuggish. Eastside had a ton of talent, but was thuggish. Copa TS was dangerous, but inconsistent. Lake O under performed. THUSC...oh THUSC. THUSC was such an entertaining carnival. That was our OPL and it was pretty fantastic.

They all went to ecnl or thorns academy. You'll find them bashing, bragging & ranting on those threads. The only thing that unites them now is that they are all way too good to bother about lowly oysa and their lowly old oysa teams.

The top players leaving left the door open for some previously average players to look good. Hence the new crazy 02 parents that write in all caps & scream they are the best in the state. Not sure why there aren't new crazy 01 parents. Older, wiser & more realistic?

ALL the teams in Premier OYSA are B teams due to the mass exodus of top players to ThornsAcademy/ECNL.

Pretty sure all those Timbers clubs advertise their teams as "A" teams. Top teams at their club. Fact that they are competitive with "B" teams from the ECNL clubs is another matter.

Not to mention that the Timbers lemming cavemen will tell you that only 10% of the top players in the state do ECNL/Thorns.
