Can't believe the DA elitist dad took so long. You guys make me laugh. Yes, if a kid is at a DA club and not on DA it is almost certainly because he didn't make the team. If he lives near a DA club then it is likely he was not good enough, but not certain there were not other reasons. If he does not live within at least 45-60 minutes of a DA club, then there are a myriad of reasons he might be good enough but elect not to try for DA. I give up trying to explain to irrational people how it is illogical to believe all of the best players elect to play DA, but the real absurdity of the comment is it irrelevant to the current conversation about best way to train young players.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

I drive 25 minutes each way for non-DA. My kid has never been happier playing soccer. Will probably not get that Division 1 partial scholarship, but pretty sure he will get over it. I certainly will.Comment
