Please provide some clarification. Is GPS a club or part of Hillsboro and IFC? We played N IFC team in state cup and they had Bayern Munich jerseys. Is that GPS?

Oregon ECNL = The race to nowhere.
You guys get that if you have an intelligent child with a good grades she can get an academic scholarship right? Also it's easier to get on D1 teams if your not looking for $$. You nimrods know that.. right???
Makes me think the ECNL parents have below average learners so this may be their ONLY pathway to college.

Did you sell them on the level of competition needed to get to college and how you could deliver? They stuck with you through a horrible year, but now they are looking over their shoulder at girls that never played ECNL being offered their spot because they are better. Too bad for the replacements if they accept your offer. Good riddance. Read Aesop. Did you find a bigger bone? They will find someone who will take their spot next year. And no I am not MJ or DL.

So now a year later they are staring at a defeated team who is split with one half hating the other, and a DOC who cold called nine GPS families telling them he needed to replace nearly half his team with better players and offering them absurd incentives to walk away from GPS. A year ago some of those GPS girls might not have made ECNL and now ECNL parents are frothing at the mouth to get them on the roster. It's just gross. Hold your club accountable for developing your girls.

Not sure what the big deal is. There are 22 2003s in the pool at Gps. MJ told all the 2003 families he was capping the top team at 18 next year and there would either be cuts or a "training roster". It shouldn't surprise anyone that a few kids are looking. 'Tis the season.

Some of the GPS parents are losing their bearings and sending their DDs to FCP and CU for the guaranteed spots. They are will to play 'down' into ECNL because of the logo. Some are considering the DA because of the $2000 and playing down. This 2003 GPS was monumental, a National contender (like Seabiscuit in a way) because they played through such adversity.
