There is something to gain for the club if in those scrimmages you show your quality. But if you get exposed as being ordinary, there is a lot to lose. AL knows this and is scared

Not being afraid to lose and always working to win is different than "needing" a scrimmage. It is almost as good as winning the scrimmage that won't happen for everyone to know that TBU is scared to let it happen.
