That is true, that is why now you see YY's pictures on social media with the boys. Girls at WFF are turning into the Chargers. Even though my kid is not there, it is shame because they used to have such a strong program not that long ago.

It is not good for the area to have just one club holding all the cards like TBU does now on the girls side. Not a knock on TBU we are very happy there, but competition makes everyone better.

The club has continued to lose players consistently over the last five years.
The overall numbers are down on the girls side dramatically over that period.
Yes, they may have GDA, but not much else & they struggle to maintain numbers with the 04, 03, 02/01 teams over the course of the season playing girls up one year & even two years in some cases.
Any objective observer would look at this situation & think, there needs to be some changes.
The numbers simply bear that out, yet the BOD continues to let mediocrity be the acceptable status.
They will keep GDA one more year & then lose it b/c there will be no changes in the leadership & as such, you will get the same result. Poor results in games will force US Soccer to do what they should have done four weeks ago, pull the plug on the GDA & YY experiment.
It sucks for the girls in the area that the club continues to let this one guy literally run the entire club into the ground year by year, yet make NO changes to the status quo.
Oh well, it what it is & nothing will change with this club, ever.
Good luck to all the GDA girls next year, it will get ugly, I am afraid.
As for the BOD, do your jobs!

Why do so many idiots say that. The long ball is a very real part of soccer. Direct with a purpose is a way a lot of premier league teams play....that's a high level, right?

The difference there is EPL players can land a 40 yard pass to the players feet, at the level we are talking about, they spray and pray!

Have heard they have several top players coming in from out of the area. People will drive for DA exposure and it should help to reshape the teams.

That would be good news for WFF & desperately needed.

Ok YY, thanks for posting. No TOP players are coming in to play at the Flames. I think IMG has a better chance of top players being added to the roster from out of the area.

No, not IMG. WFF is a top 15 GDA club. Players are coming in flocks to learn under YY's curriculum.

Be patient. YY is on the boys side now too. He will have them as a top 15 DA club just like he has done for the GDA.

Promising result today for WFF U17 GDA. Lost 4-1 to SFFA a club that has lost the GDA for next season.

It will be better next season. Development is a process that takes time. Just be patient and put your trust in YY.

While losing players to Florida Premier, St. Pete, Rush, and TBU. Top 03 players being recruited to TBU and a former coach from Rush.
