Rumor is FF is applying for ECNL. GPS might have opened up a can of worms with getting U12 Boys DA. OCYS and possibly ECNL now in their backyard.

I believe you are very misinformed and are confused between the girls and boys sides of DA and ECNL. The rumor is FFJ will try to get into the NPL league for the next season. That is good. Congratulations to Bonita on their new partnership. Hopefully it helps that program but it won’t hurt FFJ or GPS. As a FFJ parent, I hope the positive changes by all of the clubs will offer our kids more opportunities to advance to the next level.

Forgot about Armada, but that’s because they had multiple clubs merge. JFC, Creeks, JYSC, etc.

OCYS has ECNL only. Their DA is from their actual MLS Academy DA, which is a different run organization under same umbrella. Their GDA is with Pride.

TBU only has DA 13/14, and keep getting denied full DA. They have ECNL boys/girls.

Not sure what you mean confused with boys and girls DA? There is both boys and girls DA and boys and girls ECNL now.

Competition is good for the area with all clubs, but still think clubs need to start merging if they are really going to benefit SWFL. Wonder what LCS and Cape are doing now that other 3 clubs in area are making positive moves.

They should all ask the Fire if they could merger with them. The Fire is under new management now which means it is now an honest club that is finally about the kids. Bonita is a good option as well with all the fields they have access to and are headed by honest people as well. It only makes sense for the clubs north of Collier and Bonita Springs to merge with these two clubs south of them.

                Again, you are misinformed.....
Armada was JFC, and Ponte Vedra, Arlington, and Ancient City merged.
Creeks and JYSC merged to form Florida Eite, or FESA as they like to be called.

OCYS does have DA through U14 at the local club level, while the older age groups are housed at Monteverde.

                TBU has DA for U12, U13, U14, and U15.

Maybe you shouldn’t speak about something that you obviously have no experience with.

I don’t think GPS is concerned with the OCYS experiment in SWFL. Let’s leave the DA/ECNL/NPL talk to the big boys that know what they are talking about. Your info is wrong.

Fire parent here. To many players have left as they got older to play on other club older teams. Hopefully, the Florida Fire can now hold onto the young talent that we have and develop them to play on older Florida Fire teams.

This could be a reality now with new management. So many top players left as well as entire teams because of the past alleged favoritism, inappropriate behavior and money hungry attitude of some former people once associated with the club.

Stovie Stars already has all the best players in the area and with Orlando City connection is now a lock to keep it that way.

Stovie has his own thing. He is only under Azzurri banner because they needed it for State Cup. He does his own thing and I’d be surprised if they follow again.
