If your not using the club platform , then you better look to a recruiting sight such as NCSA, or other- and guess what they only match you with the data base, you still have to go fill out the college on line questionaire- very time consuming. The coaches talk to college coaches when they call r write of because NCAA recruiting regulations. You and your daughter must must maintain her profile, not the coach, follow up emails or looks by coaches that search the data base and view the player profile- wake up- that's not the coaches responsibility, it's ours the parent.

The coach that about all 3 games therefore the coach must leave little Mia in all game? All 3 games? Hell, why doesn't every parent use that line?

What's going on is that ecnl coaching has told parents of ecnl and dev that they will be fielding state cup teams made from entirely ecnl players this upcoming season to assure that their dev teams receive fspl leagues the year after. How embarrassing will it be for the club if or when some of these age groups get beaten by non ecnl teams/fail to make top 16? What a white flag that you don't even attempt to develop your players.

WFF wants those FSPL league spots for its second teams. They want to build strong second teams and those leagues help in development of players. Playing in the FSPL will be a faster pace of play and the game portion of player development will be higher level for them. Also, these leagues help attract better players to the second teams which makes training more competitive and a better environment for development. If you don't like it then write a letter or change clubs so your kid can play in those leagues. The competition between clubs is not only on the field but for the best leagues in which the clubs teams can compete. Too many parents are way to loyal to their clubs instead of to their children. I guess now you are armed with information so you can make an informed decision. You can stay at your current club and play in a crappy league with a crappy coach or you can come be on a very strong second team playing in a top league with a solid coach. Have a nice day.

Rather than worry about FSPL and qualifying for it based on all this non-sense, just put your second teams into FDL and be done with it. It's cheaper any way and you don't have to qualify. Greater Tampa Bay (now WFF) and TBU are both listed as participants. WFF should be as well since ECNL is US Club. Can you imagine WFF not supporting a US Club sanctioned league, given they are already on probation for ECNL (and don't let them say they are not, because it is 100% true they are)? How would THAT look to US Club? HMMMM food for thought out there

Absolutely true. director and staff told parents they will use ecnl in state cup to this year make sure they secure the fspl leagues for their "dev" teams. Their dev teams couldn't do it on their own last, and has nothing to do with some preposterous idea of spring training and everything to do with not being able to actually produce developed talent like your neighboring competition. Everybody already knows this is common practice at your club, just own it.
