Loyalty not stressed anymore. Club-hopping and scholarship chasing are the new normal.

Loyalty to what?? Explain to me what that means? A kid should be loyal to a club that is not getting it done for her? Or if she’s not happy? What a joke.

Don’t you mean not getting it done for you? It’s okay, your daddy loved you.

Ok, who do you think plays at pda on their top team. They have their pick from about four states worth of kids.

Actually, this is true in a lot of cases. Great post

Listen loyalty is good when you have a stable situation, good coaching/training and are playing at the appropriate level. I would never ever leave a team like that where you are established, challenged and appreciated. With that said there are so many fools that just chase a patch not even realizing that in some cases the club/team they go to is actually less competitive and they might be one of many instead of a key player.

Why is pda north playing pda south at penn fusion tournament when there are top teams there? Lol.

Because beside PDA there aren’t any top teams there, they have PSA and CSA in their bracket which says it all. Might as well play in PDA only invitational as that would be better competition than this tourney.

No, they are properly flighted in lower bracket.

Parents pay. Kids usually try out. Loyal to what?

I think he said kids are loyal to their teams, but not sure. Usually parents are impetus for kid changing teams which may or may not be @ good thing.

It goes both ways - clubs aren’t exactly loyal to their players always willing to cut for the next best player that comes along. Conversely, players aren’t loyal to clubs either - going wherever the next best opportunity presents itself. It’s a dog eat dog world and sadly there is no loyalty on either the clubs or the players part.
