Someone needed to power trip so he got the boot. Literally. It's all about the kids.....actually it's almost always about money and ND likes money.🤑

Apparently there is an issue with 2 competing Mercer County clubs: Match Fit Academy and PDA-Hibernians. Norte Dame High School is updating their sports building/field/facility that PDA teams will also use. Apparently the boys soccer head coach was removed by Norte Dame under pressure from PDA because he moved to their main competitor Match Fit Academy. (?)

I don’t get it why would PDA influence what a high school does and how they manage their coaching decisions?

PDA doesn't like actual competition kinda like MA Bell back in the old pre cell phone days.

Why does PDA have 25 on a team? Why do they posture like they develop players when they just recruit from what others have developed? Why did PDA get South into ECNL undeserved yet won't allow the ECNL to expand to other deserving clubs?

The answer to help out this holiday season is the mighty $$$$$$$.

Would love for the ND athletic director to grow a pair and respond to reporters inquiries.

Or maybe just submit questions in lieu of $ when the donation basket gets broke out during offertory.

The worst part of all this is you have a so called catholic institution with the highest moral standards involved. Just sad.

You sound very misinformed and dumb! Pda south is girls. Pda Hibo is boys. 2 separate club I believe.
It’s been established pda south HAS done enough to warrant getting into the ECNL. You can’t name another club with facility’s, culture, quality, coaching, and history of developing players successful at college and pro level.

I'm misinformed? The Hibernian club had one soccer field/their teams moved to PDA south so now they call them PDA Hibernian. Hadn't thought about it much but wonder what you get for member dues these days at the Hibos? Can't drink at the bar on the cheap so what exactly are member benefits these days.

And what has PDA south done for those that pay attention and missed it?

Jenks? Tanimae? You have got to be kidding. Many a good family has made donations to install that turf down South but should have saved it for a nice vacation.

PDA South was Dominant when they played mostly B sides. The tops of their teams are elite, but will they have the depth to beat A sides regularly. My guess is they will be about .500 and comparable to PDA White. We'll see in the Spring.

PDA South 02 team won 2018 NPL National Championship, winning each of its playoff games (including the finals) by 5 goals or more. They had 5 P5 commits graduating in 2020, along with a strong set of other commits in D1 and D3. Damn impressive team.

Also, in 2019 they dominated all of their conference and showcase games and decided to skip both their conference playoffs and NPL National playoffs because everyone was already committed and no one wanted to travel just to play games they would dominate with ease.

One team out of how many total has been good? After all these years South has been around you would think they would have more than one standout team.

Lots of clubs have one standout team. And none of those girls were on the team when my daughter played for Ajax until HS so all were developed elsewhere.
