this is an amateur sport. So the schools should be required to have sports for everyone, not choose the barbaric brain-damaging meathead sports because our country is so backwards and they enjoy watching "athletes". If it's truly amateurs, money shouldnt be a question.

Schools should stop being the farm teams for the NFL and NBA. Deal the century for the professional leagues - someone else pays to train thousands of players then go in cherry pick the top talent.

Thats too funny, those sports pay for buildings. Dream on. Most colleges lose Millions on their football every year. If you look at the amount of money that parents pay for the scholarships as part of your tuition, it is a huge%. Ct schools arent southern Power 5. Pull your head out.

No different then any other year. Why is this a surprise to you. My daughter played d3. She was “offered” her spot on the team the summer before she graduated and she was told she would be supported through the admissions process if she applied ED. She did and had her answer early in the winter. If you somehow thought that at this point you were going to get a call at home offering a d1 scholarship or even a d3 spot on a team, then you probably voted joe Biden and believe he is going to get rid of the corona virus with a national mask mandate!

No even close to any other year. Official visits are not allowed, so other than local schools, players aren't able to see the schools and most won't decide without seeing a school first. Also, there would have been a few showcases that happened that would let coaches see players again. You daughter's D3 experience is not relevant since D3 isn't subject to NCAA recruiting rules.

Go job trying to tie your irrelevant political views to girl's soccer. Get over it already.

^ Biden voters are far smarter and do their own research. Trump voters believe whatever he tells them, or in this case a club coach who tells you there's still time. There isn't. D1 done. Would have already been done regardless of Covid. Nearly all D2 and D3 also. Just apply to your top schools, stay in touch with the coach in case something

This year's class really got screwed. Not only were there no showcases after February but no ID events either. On top of that there's graduating seniors who decided to stay for one more year of eligibility. Coaches moved on to next year's class, giving offers to their top picks they had already identified.

2022s need to hustle more than ever given all the uncertainties. Covid or not getting recruited is your job, not your club's. You also need to stay in shape and stay smart so when you can play in front of someone you're ready.

Ct schools dont have big time football
and only 1 has decent basketball- so no big dollars coming in

Yale is the only school with big financial athletic booster support
