GOOD LUCK to south shore select this weekend as they have matches throughout each division against the mighty Seacoast. With wins against Seacoast in every age group again, select will end up going 14-0 against Seacoast across all age groups. Select might only be playing 3 games this fall but I applaud them for at least having their teams win all 3 games.

I hate Select. I keep thinking it will get better but it never does. money money money is all they want. Barely any games this Fall, no tournaments, crap leagues, crap coaches. Why do people stay?? Is it because they are like us and too scared to leave... devil you know?

Select has been riding on the coat tails of the two national players for YEARS. It is all smoke and mirrors and it is coming out now. They are a house of cards financially and offer very little for older players. They should go back to specializing in the littles and their older skilled players move on at the older ages.
Although, they aren't really doing a great job with the littles anymore either. Lots of mind games and favoritism. I know there is favoritism in. every aspect of. life but they take it to a whole new level.

Someone mentioned the devil you know... We are really stuck on this. We would really like to take our girls. elsewhere but worry that we will go to a new club and it will be the same drama. Do all clubs do a pool and roster changes every weekend? Do all clubs replace kids with no communication to parents? Do all clubs travel to 5+ out of state tournaments at u10? Do all clubs push extra clinics and privates at extra costs? If it is the same everywhere I'd rather just stick with what we know.
